The right ring appears to rotate clockwise while the left one counterclockwise.

"Arc tilt illusion"

Arcs have the same center but appear to be distorted.

When viewed at a distance of around 30 cm, the disk which observers gaze at in the central vision appears to rotate counterclockwise, while disks in the peripheral vision appear to rotate clockwise.
