"Active volcano"

Each disk appears to expand.

"Rotating cherries"

Rings of cherries appear to rotate clockwise. In a printed image, under dark illumination, they appear to rotate counterclockwise.

"Heart culture"

Hearts appear to move when the image is moved.

"Beating heart"

The heart region appears to move and the red also appears to move within the heart.

"Color ventilating fans"

Under a bright condition, the left and right fans appear to rotate clockwise while the central one counterclockwise. On the other hand, under a dark condition, the left and right fans appear to rotate counterclockwise while the central one clockwise.

"Rotating wheels"

Each wheel appears to rotate.

"Rotating tricolore disks: white and black"

White disks appear to rotate counterclockwise while black ones clockwise.

"Chidori"

*chidori = kind of bird

The inner block appears to move upper-righward.

"Scintillating square corner illusion"

The upper-right corner (the brightest part) of each square appears to scintillate following eye movement.

"Ninja escape"

Fixate at the center and approach the image quickly. Then, you may see something (ninjas) escape. Ninjas appear to be reddish. If the motion is quick enough, blue ninjas may be observed, too.

"Scintillating square corner illusion: reddish"

The upper-right corner (the brightest part) of each square appears to scintillate reddish following eye movement.

"Ascending and descending color escalaters"

The left column appears to move upward while the right one downward.

"Light of mint chocolate"

There appear red 'x's at the crossings in the central vision, while red dots in the peripheral vision.

"Shutting-eyes-induced color"

Fix your eyes on the center for a while and shut your eyes. Then, you will see rings of rainbow-like color for a short time.

The doors appear to move upward.

"Leaning Tower illusion with copy-and-paste of three dimensionally tilted objects"

In the upper photo, the left edge of the road is copied and pasted in parallel to the original, but the original and copy appear to diverge when they go away from the observer. In the lower photo, the right edge of the road is copied and pasted in parallel to the original, but the original and copy appear to diverge when they go away from the observer.
