日本心理学会の英文論文誌である Japanese Psychological Research のアクセス数 トップ５ に、Kitaoka (2007) （傾き錯視のレビュー）がランク入り！ 鈴木光太郎先生の月の錯視の論文もランク入りしているから、知覚心理学、特に錯視研究が

あわてなさんな。来年の話である。
このポスター（PDF, 2.1MB）は 視覚刺激のライブラリー Visiome （理化学研究所・神経情報基盤センター）に登録された。 <2008年8月6日>
Visiome への登録は無料です。今のところ、審査もありません。どなたでも登録できます。夏休みの宿題の作品でもOK。著作権の移転等はございません（Visiomeに登録しても、作者は作品の使用に関して何の制限もありませんし、Visiome側が作者に無断で他の目的に使用することもありません）。登録されたコンテンツは広く人類共有の財産として活用されるとともに、我々の死後も日本国が管理し、子々孫々まで伝えられることが期待できます。ただし、停電にはめっちゃ弱い（サーバー上の情報だから）ので（石油の切れ目がVisiomeの切れ目、油断大敵）、紙媒体による発表も抜かりなきよう。

錯視けしごむ（目にも不思議なけしごむ）が立命館生協（至徳館B1F）のレジ近くで売られているのを今頃発見。夏バテに効く、かどうかはわからない。 <2008年7月31日>
東大数理の新井先生の解説が数理科学8月号に出たが、その中にフラクタル螺旋錯視が掲載されている（図1.2）。フラクタル螺旋錯視を引用する場合に便利である。 <2008年7月23日>

オープンキャンパス真っ最中でテンションが上がっているらしいT北学院大学（S台市）の櫻I K三先生より、「踊るハート達」は「ドキがムネムネ錯視」という名前でもよいのでは、と連絡があった。シレヨンくんちゃんの見過ぎと言えましょう。タイトルが英訳不可能である。 <2008年7月5日>

あらため、
「ドキがムネムネ錯視」
ハートが動いて見える。めがねをかけている人は、めがねを動かすとよく見えるかもしれない。さらに、ドキがムネムネする。

讀賣テレビの「なるトモ！」で、トリックアイズの一つ（下図）が紹介されるらしい。ただし、関西ローカル。5月26日（月）9：55～11：20の中の10：25～10：35ぐらいの放送とのこと。

朝日放送 近未来×予測テレビ ジキル＆ハイドに日本を代表する視覚研究者が登場予定！ 一人は千葉大学の一川 誠先生、他のお二人はお楽しみに。ちなみに、北岡にも声がかかったのだが、収録当日はギャンブリング＊ゲーミング学会の第５回シンポジウム（大阪商業大学にて）で「錯視絵」と題して講演し、その後「日本にもカジノを作ろう」という趣旨のシンポジウム（国会議員も招待していて本格的）を聞いていたため、同席できず（スタジオ収録は東京ですしね）。６月８日（日）の午後７時５８分から放送予定。 → ６月１５日（日）午後７時５８分に変更。 <2008年6月3日>

In this paper, as shown below, we proposed an explanation of the paradoxical
figure-ground stability shown in the watercolor illusion (Pinna, 1987;
Pinna et al., 2001) in terms of "unique transparency" (Adelson
and Anandan, 1990; Anderson, 1997) in the study of achromatic transparency.
