The slope illusion (Magnetic hill) in Kume-jima Island #2, Japan

March 23 and 24, 2015, reported by Akiyoshi Kitaoka and Seiichi Tsuinashi, supported by a Ritsumeikan University grant (Kakenhi-connected type)

This slope is novel.

This slope appears to be an ascent though it is a gentle descent (0.7%).

This slope appears to be an ascent even if the horizontal is viewed.

The opposite view does not strongly show the slope illusion. (This slope may appear to be a descent though it is an ascent.)
