The farther slope appears to be a descent, though it is an ascent of 1.0º (1.7%). The nearer slope is an ascent of of 2.5º (4.3%)

The nearer slope is an ascent of of 2.5º (4.3%).


Dr. Tsuinashi measured the slopes.



This road is entirely an ascent but the middle slope might appear to be a descent.
