"Light of cubes"
There are glaring white diamonds and no-glare one, though they are identical in luminance. Moreover, the former appears to be darker than the latter when observers compare them in an analytical manner.

"Three color gratings"
The whole width of the red grating in the upper row appears to be narrower than that of the red grating in the lower row, though they are identical. Moreover, the number of the line segments of the former appears to be fewer than that of the line segments of the latter, though they are identical. Furthermore, the interval of the line segments of the former appears to be larger than that of the line segments of the latter, though they are identical. I imagine that this phenomenon is spatial frequency contrast induced by apparent low spatial frequency of the flanking yellow gratings, which appear to be smaller as they are because it is of low contrast. In addition, the upper red appears to be slightly bluish while the lower one appears to be orange. This color illusion may be kind of the remote color contrast. Finally, the height of the upper red grating might appear to be slightly taller than that of the lower one.
