"Flickering signals"

Each signal appears to expand during flickering. When you put the cursor on the movie, flickering stops and motion aftereffect (contraction) might be observed.

"Contracting ladybug patterns"

Each black disk appears to contract during flickering. When you put the cursor on the movie, flickering stops and motion aftereffect (expansion) might be observed.

"Rotating starfish and motion aftereffect"

This disk appears to rotate clockwise and contract during flickering. When you put the cursor on the movie, the movie stops and the disk appears to rotate counterclockwise and expand.

This disk appears to rotate alternately clockwise and counterclockwise for a small angle. This movie includes two frames showing a disk, but the two are quite the same.
