For each of the black stripes, the bottom-left edge appears closer than the top-right edge, or vice versa.

For each of the black stripes, the top-left edge appears closer than the bottom-right edge, or vice versa.
"Centipedes"
The upper edge of each centipede appears to be in front while the lower edge appears to be behind. More than 1 meter is the best for the observation distance.

I am nearsighted and wear concave glasses. In my prediction, the illusion will be reversed for those who are farsighted and wear convex glasses.
