Abstract: In this video the illusion of a mirror is created by arranging a loosely symmetric scene and placing an empty frame in the middle. Even as elements are stripped away, the illusion persists when glanced upon the scene quickly. Questions for future research: Why does the brain make this mirror assumption? What are the key elements that cause the assumption?
