Caution: This page just contains works of "anomalous motion illusion", which might make sensitive observers dizzy or sick. Should you feel dizzy, you had better leave this page immediately.

"Kamen rider 2"

The insets appear to sway.

"Tentacles"

Tentacles appear to move.

"Merman with a pair of 3D glasses"

The image appears to move.

"Robot eyes"

Robot's eyes appear to sway. If observers fix their eyes at the center and approach the image, robot's eyes appear to shift inward.

"An unstable face"

Eyebrows, eyes and the mouth appear to move. When observers fix their eyes at the central cross and approach or move away from this image, the eyebrows, eyes and the mouth appear to expand laterally. I think this effect is one of the aspects of the "Accordion Grating illusion" (Gori, Giora, Yazdanbakhsh and Mingolla, 2011; Yazdanbakhsh and Gori, 2011).
