Columns appear to move slightly. When you keep blinking, it appears as if you advance or go back along the road.

I am sorry I do not have any pictures of the Fushimi-inari shrine, where you can see a series of torii (kind of gates).

*Sugawara no Michizane (845-903AD), the god of the Kitano Tenmangu shrine, who loved ume blossum

Each circumference appears to wave. Moreover, each disk appears to rotate when observers keep blinking.
