"Apparent movement 3"

When the rotating angle is small (22.5º in these movies), apparent rotation is predominant (for Akiyoshi round motion is predominant in the upper movie). Moreover, apparent rotation is reversed frequently and can be reversed voluntarily.

In Japan, this skill is called 'bunshin no jutsu'. It is said that 'ninja' (spies) used to master this.

When images are presented fast (200ms), rotation is also observed.

Even when images are presented fast (200ms), rotation is not easily observed in this configuration.
